
Zhan Zhuang (Standing Meditation)
Zhan Zhuang is a method of physical training, health cultivation, and martial practice that evolved from the foundations of Xingyiquan. Practitioners maintain specific standing postures while cultivating deep relaxation and focused awareness, allowing the body and mind to work in harmony. Through this practice, circulation of qi and blood is regulated, and the muscles, tendons, and bones are gradually strengthened.
Beyond physical training, Zhan Zhuang is also a form of mental cultivation. It helps practitioners stay present, ease stress and anxiety, and rediscover balance between body and mind.
